Refund Policy
Last updated 20 September 2026
The short version: try it free for 14 days before paying anything, and if a paid month goes wrong anyway, write to us and we will put it right.
01The trial comes first
ValoAssist has a 14-day free trial. It takes no payment and does not turn into a paid subscription on its own. It is the whole product rather than a reduced version, and it is the way to find out whether the app works on your setup — in particular the two-monitor requirement, which is the thing most likely to make it unsuitable for you.
We would far rather you used the trial than paid for a month you did not want.
02Your right to withdraw
As a consumer in the European Union you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content and services supplied immediately, that right can be lost once supply has begun with your express agreement — which is what you give when you subscribe and get access straight away.
We do not rely on that to refuse a fair refund. What follows is more generous than the legal minimum, and nothing here takes away a right you have by law.
03Our policy
- Within 14 days of a charge, if ValoAssist does not work for you or is not what you expected, ask and we will refund that charge in full. You do not have to justify it in detail.
- If the app is broken and we cannot fix it for you in reasonable time, we refund the affected period whenever you raise it, not only inside 14 days.
- If we stop offering the service during a period you have paid for, we refund the unused part without you having to ask.
- We may decline where the pattern is plainly abuse — repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles, or a request made after the library has been copied.
04How to ask
Email support@valoassist.com from the address you subscribed with, or name it in the message. Tell us roughly what went wrong if you can; it helps us fix it for the next person, but the refund does not depend on you doing so.
Refunds are issued by our payment provider, which is the merchant of record for your purchase, and are returned to the payment method you used. The provider normally processes them within a few days; how soon the money appears after that is up to your bank or card issuer.
05Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves your access running until the end of the period you have paid for. It does not by itself refund the period you are in. If you want both, cancel and then ask — or simply ask, and we will do both.
